BARBER

In the spring of 2019 Erin was in North Carolina getting ready for an iron pour when she spotted an abandoned barber chair in the scrap pile.  She quickly took a clay impression and let some wax harden on top. There was no running water at the shop so most of the afternoon was spent helping the river take the clay away.  The iron pour was successful but since then the tool has badly cracked, getting slightly worse each time we ladle glass onto it. Lenses cast from this texture will be limited, we just don’t know by how much yet.
